JJR Motorsport has been set up to help guide youngsters with a spark of talent and the will to succeed through their formative years in motor sport.

Making it in karting can be a tough, with many pitfalls along the path to ultimate success – but the benefits of competition can be immense, even at an early stage. Racing at speeds of up to 70mph is certainly thrilling, but many drivers will tell you that it also helps with confidence, responsibility and maturity – personal skills just as useful away from the track as they are behind the wheel.

The company’s founders, John Johnson and wife, Allison should know. They have watched their own sons develop from their first drive to victory at club championship level on into the hotbed of European competition where many of today’s F1 stars served their apprenticeships.

However, they also know that first win can be hard to achieve without some expert guidance. JJR Motorsport has been launched in partnership with current British and European title holders HRS Motorsport to pass on invaluable expertise on to a new crop of young drivers.

Whether you want to try karting as a hobby or believe you may have the next Jenson Button on your hands, JJR Motorsport is a great place to start.

CRG UK and JJR Motorsport

JJR Motorsport is committed to the latest innovations as well as providing up-to-date information about CRG karts and parts. In conjunction with CRG UK (HRS Motorsport) we aim to showcase the latest products and provide opportunities for customers to test and evaluate them.

JJR Motorsport is the latest venture by Ambition 4U Ltd, set up with the backing of Tristram Oman of HRS Motorsport.

We hope to provide kart racers and their support teams with a package which will allow the individual to develop their skills on the track and invaluable experience in kart preparation and setup to help them progress up the grid.

A comprehensive spares service will also be available at racing events.

CRG Winning Instruments

C.R.G., nowadays company leader for the manufacturing and marketing of chassis and spare parts for karts, was founded in 1986 thanks to the experience of its promoting partners, matured starting from the seventies in the company KaliKart. KaliKart was born as a little factory producing hobby chassis but in a few years it changed into an important company, selling its products in the whole Italy and in 1979 it won the 125cc Italian championship.

The new company C.R.G. established itself since the beginning of its activities in the international karting survey, thanks to a constant commitment in the research and technical development of its products and at the beginning of the nineties it changed from a craft made production into an industrial manufacture.

In that period started also the widespread expansion of importers and distributors in the five continents, with a particular care for the key markets of Europe and U.S.A., so that nowadays it reached the number of 70 official dealers all over the world and this number is also increasing, with the new importers of the rising markets, such as the countries of the ex U.R.R.S. and the Middle East.

In the nineties, the company started the development of a new line for the study and designing of karting engines, but the new line required an high specialization, both for the manufacturing structure and for the different skills required to the staff, so after the company and production shakeout of the year 2000 the management decided to create a separate company: Maxter S.r.L
